Repose opened in 2012 as a result of the dedication of three friends who loved tea and the comfort associated with the ancient drink. In a civilization saturated with coffee/tea shops that offer a selection of beverages, but lack the comfort they should bring, Repose is a refuge. We seek to provide you with a calming atmosphere and quality tea. Our doors are wide open to any and everybody; please come in and get comfortable…and perhaps say hello to Oscar, our resident feline.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Co-founders of Repose, Paisley, Savannah, and Willow, met in Sri Lanka on a tea excursion. Recognizing that it must be more than just chance that three Oregonians happened upon each other in such a far-away place, these three tea-lovers devised a plan to bring their knowledge back to Portland.
